• Seaspan's Vancouver shipyard modernization: Seaspan completes a $140 million heavy outfitting pier in Vancouver. The 890-foot steel facility replaces a 60-year-old timber pier. It will support the Royal Canadian Navy's joint support ships into 2027. This investment secures Seaspan's competitive edge for future government contracts. READ MORE

• Greece's National port upgrade program: Greece launches a $680 million modernization of its island port infrastructure. The plan targets 30 ports, with 21 already in the implementation phase. • Malaga's Shore Power substation tender: Malaga's port authority tenders a $13 million electrical substation. The 25-month project will enable cold ironing for all ship types. • Klaipėda's final OPS phase: The Port of Klaipėda enters the final stage of its quay electrification. A €601,000 power station is installed at the port's fleet base. • Brazil's hybrid offshore vessel fund: Starnav secures R$2.5 billion to build eight hybrid vessels. The order includes four PSVs and four oil spill recovery vessels. • Poland's electric ferry record order: Remontowa Shipbuilding begins a record seven electric ferries for Scotland. The £147.5 million contract is the largest in the Polish yard's history. • Estonia's innovative biofuel workboat: Baltic Workboats builds a 38-meter biofuel-electric vessel for Estonia. The multipurpose ship will use biomethane from agricultural waste. • China's 10,000-Ton electric ship: A 10,000-ton all-electric container ship launches in Jiangxi, China. The 127.8-meter vessel is powered by 10 containerized battery units. • PSW wins OPS for Northern Lights CCS: PSW wins a contract for a shore power system at the Northern Lights terminal. The 3MW system will supply ships with renewable grid electricity.
