Montrose port's 1 GWh milestone. Montrose Port Authority has supplied 1 GWh of certified renewable shore power. The Plug Montrose facility lets vessels like the Brage Viking shut down diesels while berthed. This self-funded joint venture milestone was reached just 18 months after operation began. READ MORE
Bornholm's Energy Island blueprint: Stillstrom and Port of Roenne are studying offshore wind integration for ship charging. Koper orders more e-cranes: Luka Koper has ordered four new electric RTG cranes from Konecranes. The cranes, with cable-reel grid connection and onboard batteries, replace diesel units. Sète inaugurates green trio: The Port of Sète-Frontignan inaugurated a dredger, rail terminal, and shore power. The €30M Hydromer dredger features electric propulsion and future green hydrogen. Felixstowe's autonomous trucks: Felixstowe took delivery of the first two trucks from a second order of 34 ATs. The electric, emissions-free trucks use advanced LiDAR and sensor fusion. Guangzhou's hybrid ferries for NZ: Guangzhou Shipyard International will build two hybrid Ro-Pax ferries for New Zealand. Konecranes' electric reach stacker: Konecranes launched its first electric reach stacker at TOC Asia in Singapore. The machine uses high-energy Li-Ion batteries for up to 16 hours of operation. Flux Marine's $15M funding round: Flux Marine raised $15 million to scale production of its electric outboards. The funding will also support expanding sales of its core propulsion technology.
