Kolkata’s electric cranes: Kolkata’s Netaji Subhas Dock deploys India’s first electric mobile harbor cranes via Adani Ports. The 406-TEU-capable cranes cut diesel use, reducing CO₂ and noise pollution for SMP operations. It is part of Maritime India Vision 2030, with OPS and yard electrification studies underway.
