These eco-friendly vessels will slash emissions by 650 tons of CO2 annually and consume 3M liters less diesel. Europe’s first fully e-Tug makes waves in Norway: The BB ELECTRA, Europe’s pioneering fully electric tugboat, has had a busy start, completing 81 operations in Norway since April 2024. Built by Sanmar Shipyards, this eco-friendly marvel boasts 1,718 kWh of battery power, a bollard pull of 45 tons, and zero emissions.
