Algeciras OPS investment: Port of Algeciras invests €90M in shore power infrastructure by 2030. Initial €14M for four projects electrifying ferry, ro-ro and container terminals. Aims to eliminate 36,000 tons of CO₂ annually from docked vessels. Includes connections for cruise ships, ferries and salvage vessels at multiple berths. READ MORE
Thisvi electric crane: Port of Thisvi orders Konecranes Gottwald ESP.7 electric mobile harbor crane. 51m working radius with 125-tonne capacity and zero local emissions when grid-connected. Kiel OPS expansion: Port of Kiel completes €50M shore power infrastructure expansion. Now supplies 7 vessels simultaneously including 3 cruise ships at Ostseekai. 24 cruise ships used shore power across 270 calls in 2024. Bilbao BilbOPS Project: Port of Bilbao implements BilbOPS project for sustainable cruise tourism. 30MW capacity with 11 connection points for container, cruise and ferry vessels. BYD green corridors: BYD and Shenzhen Port Group expand cooperation on green shipping corridors. Develops Xiaomo Port as NEV ro-ro hub and Yantian as container shipping center.
